Mumbai(SDM): Tata Motors has officially introduced the refreshed Tata Punch EV facelift in India, bringing updated styling, improved features and enhanced battery options to its popular electric compact SUV. The new arrival is aimed at urban buyers looking for an affordable yet feature-rich electric vehicle.
The facelifted Punch EV receives subtle cosmetic upgrades that give it a sharper and more modern appearance. The front fascia now looks cleaner with updated LED lighting elements, while new alloy wheel designs and fresh colour options add to its appeal. The compact SUV stance remains intact, retaining the rugged character that made the Punch EV popular among city drivers.
Inside the cabin, the new Punch EV offers a more premium feel with an updated touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. Wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car technology and improved cabin materials enhance the driving experience. Safety features such as multiple airbags, ABS with EBD and electronic stability control continue to strengthen its credentials.
The Tata Punch EV facelift is offered with two battery pack options a 30 kWh unit for daily city commuting and a larger 40 kWh battery designed for extended driving range. The bigger battery delivers a claimed range of up to 468 km (ARAI-certified), making it suitable for both urban use and occasional highway trips. Fast-charging capability ensures quicker top-ups, adding convenience for EV owners.
The refreshed Punch EV is positioned competitively in the entry-level electric vehicle segment, with prices starting from around ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Motors also continues to offer flexible ownership options, including battery subscription plans to reduce the initial purchase cost.
With its updated design, improved technology and extended range, the Tata Punch EV facelift is expected to further strengthen Tata Motors’ presence in India’s growing electric vehicle market. Bookings are now open at dealerships across the country, and deliveries are set to begin shortly.
